I am finally get some pictures up from movie night. Actually by this time we have had two!! I have now vowed to do one every Saturday, I think they are so much fun. This is why I love summer is for the BBQ's and the drive in. Now I have found a way to bring the drive in here!
This just proves we can have just as much fun here as my parents get to have in France, or at least that is what I keep telling myself!

Ahh such a good quote...
"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around and shouting that he has been robbed. The fact of the matter is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is like an old time rail journey...delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." - President Hinckley
I read this quote on a friends blog and really liked it and decided to share!!! I need to remember to love the journey I am going through even though I may not enjoy the trials I have.

Birthday Bash!!!
This last Saturday my roommates threw me a surprise birthday party!! I had no idea about it and it was such a surprise! I had to go outside because my heart was racing so hard! Lisa said my face was the funniest thing ever.
Here is a picture of the girls! I don't know why we didn't get one with the boys in it!
Here are more random pictures from the night:
So as the night progressed Lisa and I got into a chocolate cake fight! Needless to say I won of course and Lisa was very sorry it ever happened! So here are the pictures of the end result! I got Lisa good!

Rollerskating
Last night I went rollerskating with friends. Lets just say I am really not good at any of that kind of stuff, ice skating, rollerblading or rollerskating. Last night I only fell once! I think that is some record for me! It was a lot of fun though. I just had to hold onto someone!
I went by myself and they all made fun of me because they said I was moving my arms like I was dancing or something! I was just trying not to fall!
It was a really fun night and I am excited to do it again, I just need to practice a little bit.

Mothers...
Since today is Mother's Day I decided to post a little about my mother and how much I am thankful for what she has done for me! The pictures I have aren't very good because I don't have many pictures on my laptop so these will have to do! Later I will post some better ones.
My mom has always been there for me and I am very thankful for that. It has been until recently that I have realized how much she has prepared me for the real world. She taught me the value of hard work! Without that I don't know where I would be. As much as I hated doing chores it taught me a lot. I now know that you have to work hard to get anywhere in life and just survive in this world. She taught me to work hard to get a job so I could pay for things I wanted. This made me realize if I wanted something I had to work hard if I wanted something, it wasn't just given to me.

Even though I don't tell her how much I am grateful for her I really am. I love her a ton and don't know where I would be without her! I just hope I can turn out to be half the mother she was to me! I guess I will have to have her help me with that. So because it was Mother's Day I decided to write and tell my mom how much I love her and am thankful for raising wonderful kids and that she did an amazing job doing it!
Since David is on a mission I don't have a picture of the four of us so this seperate picture of David will have to do. This is a typical face of David!
