Its been awhile... Hence the long post!

I know it has been forever since I have posted and I am trying the think of what I have done in these past months. I tired looking at my camera just to realize I haven't taken many pictures. Traci, my brother in law David, and Lisa were here for a short amount of time so I played with them as much as I could since I still had to go to school and work. We had an awesome party for them, (pictures to come) and I spent as much time as possible holding little Leah!

We also took some family pictures which were so funny because the photographer just took pictures. He didn't say one, two, three or anything just took a bunch and then said we are good! So we got the proofs back and I had to laugh because all of the pictures we are the same. The only person who changes is Leah. The first picture Leah is glaring at the camera and then the next one she notices her pretty dress and the rest of the pictures she is gradually getting closer to her dress until the last one when she has it in her mouth. What a funny girl. I will have to post some when I get the pictures.

What else happened this last chunk of time. About a month or two ago I got a new job working at a doctors office in Bountiful, it has been a lot of fun and the people are a lot of fun to work with. I love working with medicine and so I always get so excited when I see that someone is on the schedule that has something that can be interesting to see! Oh I am so lame!!

I guess the most recent thing that happened was my birthday. I am now getting old and it was sad when the cooks at work were guessing my age and they were guessing 27 and 28. I didn't think I looked that old but maybe I do! I had to go to school that morning and work all day so it wasn't super eventful but still fun! I was in the shower when my parents came in singing me happy birthday and I couldn't figure out why they couldn't have waited til I got out of the shower but I guess my dad had to leave. Well, when I got out there was a piece of cake with a candle sitting on the sink! When I got to work there was a huge card, balloons, cupcakes, cake and cheesecake for me. Man I was on one sugar high that day! That night an employee Taylor came in to eat (he is a funny character and I have many stories about him if you ever want to hear)and the owner Mike asked if he had wished me happy birthday? Next thing I know he is yelling across the restaurant "Excuse me everyone, excuse me. This is Emily and it is her birthday so lets sing to her!" The whole restaurant is singing and clapping and I am going bright red with embarrassment and Taylor is just laughing! The whole time the cooks are peeking around the corner to see what all of the commotion was about. Did I mention this was a busy Friday night? The restaurant was packed and we had a waiting list! After work I went to dinner with friends were we had a really weird waiter who just kept bringing us napkins. I kept thinking did I spill on me or something? And then of course they sang to me and I was embarrassed once again. All in all it was a great birthday full of lots of birthday wishes and lots of fun! Thanks everyone!

Sorry this is such a long post. I am going to try and take more pictures and post more often! I am also very impressed with anyone who made it this far!! I know I wouldn't have!
